Jim's Bio: I am the founder of Qualitize. I am an Online Marketer with a Development background. I grew up in Los Gatos, CA. Went through the Computer Science program at CSU Chico, graduating in 1997.
After moving back to the Silicon Valley and getting passed up after an interview at Netscape, I chose to take a position working out at NASA Ames in Mountain View as a developer. After a few years I decided to leave and take the plunge into the "real world".
I landed at Intuit where I worked on the Quicken.com web site as a Web Metrics Engineer. I made it just in time for the .com bust and I was laid off. I actually met my wife the day before I was told the news of my layoff, and I went to fill out my last day paperwork on 9/11.
From there I worked at an E-commerce start-up for 3 years where I got Online Marketing into my blood. The days where somewhat rough back then, but in today's day and age the web is bomming once again.
These days I do not do much in the way of development in my day job, but I always try to keep sharp with side projects like Qualitize.com.
