Qualitize Blog

Well, as I thought things have been moving along, but not as quickly as I’d like.  With most site ideas I’ve had it appears that competition is beating down my door.  Over the last week or so there has been quite a bit of news around a couple new VC funded companies that appear to be indirect or possibly direct competitors to what Qualitize is all about.

Qualitize may not have the funding and complexity of some of these bigger guys, but I still think that Qualitize is going to be a blast and for that…..I forge ahead.

Qualitize is a pretty simple idea. Yet with more web2.0 and social networking companies releasing sites every week for the last few years I am surprised nobody has really honed in on the “people” angle.  That’s where we come in. With Qualitize you can vote for the people you love, hate, respect or despise. You will be able to tag folks based upon the qualities that make them “them”.  There is a bit more then that, but let’s wait until there is actually a site to play with before we start talking about the cool things Qualitize can be used for.
